Through our Member Companies and Consultants EIED offers a wide range of services to small
and medium size businesses (SMEs) interested in financing their projects by making use of the existing funding facilities
in the Republic of Austria.
PROJECT FINANCE
For innovative projects, the Austrian Government provides guarantees for debt or equity capital.
In particular, guarantees for equity capital are emerging as an engine for financing innovation, assuming 100 percent liability
for individual contributions of up to 20,000 euros and 50 percent for sums above that level. Small and mid-sized businesses
benefit in particular from the availability of guarantees for equity capital.
Through a combination of subsidies, loans and guarantees, a large portion of financing can
be covered. The guarantee can cover up to 100 percent of investments and makes profit participation especially attractive
for investors. EIED assists it´s Member Companies to benefit of these funding opportunities.
PRODUCT SOURCING AND MANUFACTURING
EIED helps Member Companies source products, services and agency representation in other
European countries and Middle East. This service includes: evaluating potential suppliers, business reputation, product quality,
reliability, flexibility to adjust as product needs change, on-site technical expertise and quality of management. In addition
EIED can assist in negotiating price, payment terms, licensing, shipping and warehousing.
FOREIGN INVESTMENTS EIED
evaluates opportunities in the new EU Countries and the Middle East for companies seeking
foreign investment and parnership. Typically this begins with preparing a detailed evaluation of the technology, management,
competition, market, prospects for growth, expected market changes, government regulations, and current and projected financial
trends. We help negotiate attractive terms and minimize risks. In addition, EIED assists in negotiating agreements and identifying
"friendly" take-over and joint-venture prospects.
ESTABLISHING AN OFFICE IN AUSTRIA EIED
will find appropriate office space, help recruit needed personnel and obtain needed government
approvals and support. We advise on strategies, locations, financial requirements, management control and initial marketing.
