The Objectives of the Chamber are:

* To enhance and promote the bilateral economic and commercial relations between the Republic of Austria and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

* To be a direct liaison with business organisations in both Countries, and to express the views of the local Austrian business community to public and private interests in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

* To provide a forum in which Austrian business executives in Egypt, and Egyptian business executives with Austrian interests may identify, discuss and pursue common interests regarding their activities.

*To work with individuals and organisations in Egypt on matters of mutual interest.

* The Chamber may do all lawful things which may be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the foregoing objectives. The Chamber shall not attempt to restrict or in any manner interfere with any lawful activity undertaken by any member in Austria. The Chamber shall not engage in any political activity in Austria or allow its funds or facilities to be used for political purposes in Austria.
